Pink Saturday, the Monday Edition

Above is a picture of my sweet peas. They were the are the first flowers I plant each year, and by far the most fragrant and beautiful. By the first frost of fall, they are generally taller than me!
Happy belated Pink Saturday.
**In regard to the lateness, we were unexpectedly away from home for most of the weekend. Sorry guys!

I have not grown sweet peas. Really that tall? Very pretty.

You are so right. Sweet peas smell like pure heaven and are a delight to the senses. Thankyou for the post, I can't grow them here in the desert, Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Yes Jennifer they get really tall, you have to tie them up (at least mine do, but they do have dwarf varieties that don't grow that high)

G, I'm so jealous, I wish mine came back on their own. Maybe someday they eventually will, I do plant them in the same places every year.

Char, even though you can't grow sweet peas in the desert, I'm really jealous thinking about all of the wonderful succulents that grow there. They would have to be inside up here in the frozen tundra :)
